The Work: In this important role, the Systems Integration Engineer (SIE) will: • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain operating system and software applications on Linux and Windows platforms • Maintain and develop the environment for hardware and software systems builds, staging, testing and integration • Perform system, sub-system, and equipment racking, stacking, testing, and software integration at field sites and local lab environments • Prepare and update technical documentation for system and software installations, sustainment, upgrades, and troubleshooting • Provide Tier 3 support for system failures and degradation problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems • Provide technical support to software development and integration efforts in the lab and during field installations • Create system-specific software baselines and related configuration files in preparation for This position is participating in our External Referral Program . Code extrefer extrefer RMSIL2025 OneLMHotJobs Basic Qualifications: • Candidate must possess active security clearance with a polygraph • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university. In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted • Eight (8) years of experience as a software integrator, tester, system administrator, or systems engineer on projects with similar software (Windows or Linux). • Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant cert (i.e., Security) • Support rack, stack, and cabling; good with lifting 40-50 lbs. • Foundation in Linux, Docker, Kubernetes ,and vSphere. • Must be willing to travel. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $123,500 - $217,695. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
