Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Tableau Developer to join our team and drive data visualization initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing interactive and insightful Tableau dashboards and reports, enabling data-driven decision-making. This role requires expertise in data analysis, SQL, and dashboard development, along with a strong understanding of business intelligence best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize complex data insights.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable data visualizations.
• Connect, blend, and optimize data from multiple sources, ensuring high performance and accuracy.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
• Implement best practices for dashboard design, including performance tuning, user experience, and accessibility.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across all reports and dashboards.
• Automate report generation and schedule data refreshes for real-time insights.
• Work closely with data engineers and analysts to enhance data models and architecture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tableau dashboards, data connectivity, and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest Tableau features and industry trends to enhance reporting capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Tableau development, including dashboard creation and data visualization.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with data blending, calculated fields, parameters, and Tableau Prep.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• Experience with Tableau Server/Cloud for publishing, security, and user access management.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex datasets.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights effectively to stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
