- Prepare Business requirements documents for changes and enhancements.
- Experienced in reverse engineering processes and document current and future state models
- Hands-on professional experience coordinating, start to finish, independently, rating, product and underwriting API modifications for all channels, provinces, and companies.
- Experience working on AWS/Cloud Transformation Projects
- Solid background in defining high-level, detailed, and accurate business requirement documents.
- Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time and create reports
- Experience with Scrum and other Agile frameworks
- Experienced in Identifying impacts on business processes based on detailed solutions and strategies as well as being able to identify when changes in connectivity will impact other business channels.
- Liaise between various business departments and groups
- Bring both Cloud Infrastructure / Business and system knowledge together
- Assess options for process improvement, including business process modeling
- Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes and operations
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams
- Execute the coordination of planned requirement activities, setting expectations for flexibility to changing requirements based on deadlines and/or alternative business needs.
- Organize end to end testing and co-ordination with other departments and third-party vendors.
- Accountable to provide delivery estimates for all tasks and plans assigned to team member.
- Ensure the delivery of work is to stakeholders' satisfaction using project management practices including change management, release management and post-mortem/retrospective reviews.
- Have a good understanding and background of P&C Insurance products. Works closely with stakeholders to coordinate and schedule API (application programming interface) connectivity changes with IT partners and third-party vendors.
- Excellent analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with facilitating meetings and liaising with stakeholders. What you'll Bring
- College or University Degree is preferred. Prior Business System Analyst / Business Analyst experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of Change Management.
