Job Title: TIG WelderJob Description

Join our team as a TIG Welder with openings on the 1st Shift. You will be responsible for the complete welding of prefabricated assemblies, setting up welding machines unassisted for any process or material thickness, and operating a variety of fabrication equipment. You will fabricate and weld complex assemblies from blueprints and interpret blueprints accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on prefabricated assemblies.
• Set up welding machines for various processes and material thicknesses.
• Operate fabrication equipment including plate roller, saw, pipe roller, and drill press.
• Fabricate and weld complex assemblies from blueprints.
• Read and interpret blueprints for fabrication tasks.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of welding experience.
• Proficiency in TIG (GTAW) welding.
• Experience with aluminum and stainless steel.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Familiarity with fabrication and fitting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of operating various fabrication equipment.
• Experience in welding complex assemblies unassisted.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr.
