Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of recent experience and ARRT certification for outpatient breast imaging services.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Outpatient breast care imaging department
• Performs mammograms, breast ultrasound, bone density, and breast biopsy procedures
• Day shift schedule, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call required
• Uses Cerner EMR system; Cerner experience preferred
• Responsible for performing diagnostic breast imaging and assisting with biopsy procedures
• Must be able to work either Christmas Day or New Year's Day, and either Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve
• RTO must be requested upfront; requests after offer are not allowed
• Returning staff must have a 2-year break before being considered as a traveler
• Scrubs or dress code is not specified
• First-time travelers will be considered

\n \n Requirements\n

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in mammography
• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Must be able to work day shifts and major/minor holidays as outlined
• Applicants must live at least 50 miles from the facility
