\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work on a 36-bed Neurosciences unit (6 West Neurosciences) on the 6th floor of A Tower
\n• Patient ratios: 5:1 or 6:1 stretch on day shift, 7:1 stretch on night shift
\n• Day shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, 3 CNAs, 1 HUC
\n• Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1 HUC
\n• Every other weekend schedule required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS and NIH (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
\n• Preferred experience: Neuroscience nursing background
\n• Float to other medical-surgical floors as needed
\n• Work with standard medical-surgical equipment and Cerner EMR system
\n• Perform typical procedures including Foley catheter insertion and IV starts
\n• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
\n• Must demonstrate outgoing and self-motivated personality traits
\n• New staff reference book provided at contract start
