• Assignment Type: Travel RN\n
• Unit: CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit)\n
• Start Date: December 1, 2025\n
• End Date: March 2, 2026\n
• Duration: 13-week contract\n
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 - 07:30), 3 shifts/week\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910-$2050\n
• Staffing Ratio: 1:1-2\n
• Scrubs: Navy blue\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 2.5 years of recent CVICU nursing experience (within last 6 months)\n
• Proficiency with IABP, open heart recovery, and CRRT required\n
• Cardiac surgical nursing experience required\n
• Active RN license (Washington or Compact State)\n
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRRT Prismaflex\n
• Epic charting system experience preferred\n
• Ability to float to neuro stepdown, cardiac stepdown, neuro critical care, and sister hospitals\n
• Strong clinical skills in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and advanced cardiac procedures\n
• First-time travel nurses with strong CVICU background encouraged to apply\n

\n\nCVICU RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients, including pre- and post-cardiac surgery\n
• Manage advanced cardiac devices and procedures: CABG, OHS, AAA, valvular repairs, IABP, Impella, VADs, pacemakers, epicardial pacing, CRRT/dialysis, ECMO\n
• Perform and interpret hemodynamic monitoring, 12-lead EKGs, and manage ventilators and respiratory support equipment\n
• Administer blood products, titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, and provide procedural sedation\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, and rapid response teams\n
• Float to other critical care units as needed\n
• Maintain strict infection prevention and isolation protocols\n
• Document patient care accurately using Epic charting system\n
