• Location: Peoria, IL 61637 (Illinois healthcare jobs)\n
• Setting: Acute Care – Nephrology/Med Surg Unit\n
• Unit Size: 21 beds (mostly private rooms)\n
• Assignment Duration: 18 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 4/13/2026)\n
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am), 3 shifts/week\n
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1990-$2130\n
• Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and holiday\n
• Charting System: EPIC\n
• Dress Code: Any color scrubs (per unit guidelines)\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Illinois RN license or proof of application (Illinois nursing jobs)\n
• BLS certification (AHA required)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience\n
• General medical background required; nephrology or urology experience preferred\n
• Strong teamwork, positive attitude, and dependability\n
• Ability to pass comprehensive drug screen (drug-free campus)\n

\n\nRN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver direct patient care for ESRD, AKI, dialysis, post-transplant, and general medical overflow patients\n
• Conduct bedside reports and hourly rounding\n
• Collaborate with charge nurses, patient care techs, and respiratory therapists\n
• Administer medications and inhalers as needed\n
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning\n
• Float to other general medical units as needed\n
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC\n
• Comply with hospital policies, dress code, and infection control standards\n
