Travel Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Green Bay, WI Start Date: 10/13 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift: 36 or 48-hour rotations, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PMA behavioral health facility in Green Bay, WI is seeking an experienced Psychiatric RN to provide care across 5 units (72 beds) . Units include voluntary and involuntary patients , adult and geriatric populations. The facility does not have onsite security , but occasional incarcerated individuals may be present.
Duties:
Provide direct nursing care to patients in an acute behavioral health setting
Assess and monitor patient psychiatric and medical needs
Implement individualized nursing care plans, including medication administration and crisis interventions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, effective, patient-centered care
Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record
Maintain safety while managing patients with behavioral health challenges
Qualifications:
Current RN license in Wisconsin or compact license eligible
BLS certification required
Previous psychiatric/behavioral health experience preferred
Able to work with adult and geriatric populations
Experience with voluntary and involuntary patients preferred
