UniverSoul Circus is seeking a skilled, media-savvy Public Relations & Content Specialist to join our national tour. This unique opportunity blends strategic public relations with on-the-ground content creation , offering a fast-paced, highly collaborative role at the intersection of live entertainment, media, and culture.

The ideal candidate has a proven ability to shape narratives, manage local market media relations, and create high-quality, engaging social media content — all while traveling and working onsite with one of the most culturally vibrant touring shows in the country.

Primary Responsibilities:

Public Relations & Media Relations

• Serve as the local market PR lead in each tour city
• Coordinate press interviews, TV/radio appearances, and influencer engagement
• Liaise with local promoters, community organizations, and media contacts
• Support performers and staff during media events or public appearances
• Contribute to media strategy, messaging, and brand alignment

Content Creation & Digital Storytelling

• Create compelling short-form video and photo content for social platforms
• Capture behind-the-scenes stories, cast features, audience reactions, and more
• Publish content in real time across channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
• Align messaging across earned and owned media to maintain brand cohesion
• Collaborate closely with performers and internal teams to highlight the soul of the show

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree helpful but not required
• Experience in PR, media, or content creation
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency in video production and editing (smartphone or DSLR, plus tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, etc.)
• Strong understanding of social media best practices and trends
• Experience coordinating press, handling interviews, and working with media outlets
• Must be comfortable traveling full-time with the tour (travel and lodging provided)
• Bilingual helpful

Compensation & Logistics:

• Competitive compensation based on experience
• Weekly per diem, housing, and all travel covered
• Full-time touring contract (not remote; must be available to travel with the circus across the U.S.)
