This busy mixed-animal practice began as a family venture currently employs 3-4 FT DVMs with a very diverse set of professional interests. Looking for technicians/assistants with real-world experience who can work independently, have good social and leadership skills, and have as strong interest in continuing education and lifelong learning. Schumacher Veterinary Clinic is a full-service large and small animal care with emergency service for established clients ONLY--on-call work is divided between technicians/assistants and back-up is always available. Practice is heavy on surgery, both routine and some speciality procedures (including more advanced soft tissue, orthopedic, large animal, and dentistry) as well as a substantial amount of wellness care and internal medicine work.
In-house IDEXX lab, digital radiography (stationary, dental, and mobile), truck with Porta-Vet, and endoscopy are just some of the services we offer our clients.
