About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Global Security for the APAC region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a regional security team that provides comprehensive security oversight, assistance, and response for all security needs within the region. This includes event security, production security, studio security, asset and content protection, investigative support, travel security, workplace security, security technology, and incident monitoring. The role demands a strategic leader with a proven track record in security management, and crisis response, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, both internal and external. The Vice President will be expected to develop and implement a regional security strategy, oversee risk assessments, and lead crisis response efforts, all while maintaining professional relationships with local law enforcement and government agencies. Applicants must have a minimum of 15-20 years of experience in security-related fields, with at least 5 years in a significant leadership role, and a strong background in the Asia Pacific region. The role requires the ability to anticipate and influence security trends in a multicultural environment, as well as superior interpersonal skills and the ability to manage organizational and cultural change. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree in a related field. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, a strong team player, and have the ability to travel as needed.
