Job Description
Duties:
- Pack items into boxes or containers according to company standards and procedures
- Ensure accuracy and quality of packed items
- Label packages with appropriate shipping information
- Organize and maintain inventory of packing materials
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in materials handling, distribution center, or warehouse environment preferred
- Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems is a plus
- Ability to perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy of packed items
- Proficient in operating pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
- Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Forklift certification is a bonus
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues is desirable
