Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $17 - $17 / hour. This range is a goodfaith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
What you'll be doing as a Waste And Recycling Worker: - Ride on the back of garbage or recycling collection truck and collect solid waste on a designated route
- Direct driver when pulling out in traffic and backing up, and direct incoming vehicles to dumping area at solid waste disposal facilities
- Check operating and safety conditions of vehicles, perform minor servicing, and report needed repairs or servicing
- Assist driver with various tasks during waste runs
Available shifts: Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements: - Knowledge of work routines and procedures in collecting solid waste materials for disposal, reuse, and recycling
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds, and able to carry, reach, bend, push, pull, and climb
- Flexibility to work in all weather conditions
- Background check and drug screening required.
