Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Supervisor to join our team at SAINT SIMEON'S. In this role, you will oversee nursing staff and ensure the highest quality of care for our residents. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining our standards of excellence and compassion in senior care. This position is for Saturday's and Sunday's 7am-7pm including Baylor pay with the option of choosing a day/night that the Staffing Coordinator needs to fill in order to have 40 hours for the week. Pay is negotiable within the means of our pay scale. We offer benefits and PTO along with other employee appreciation events.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care activities.
• Conduct physical examinations and assess patient needs.
• Implement and monitor individualized care plans for residents.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Provide training and support to nursing staff on best practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Manage medication administration and oversee tube feeding procedures.
• Manage CNA's, CMA's, and LPN's.
• Manage the staff by intercepting any issues that may take place such as an aide or nurse being moved to a different floor to better accommodate the staffing needs.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of physiology and hospital medicine practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to perform physical examinations and manage complex patient needs.
• Must be willing to be in the on call rotation.
