Norris Furniture & Interiors is the finest home furnishings store in Southwest Florida. We offer our design professionals an endless stream of new clients, three beautiful showrooms, a custom drapery and soft goods workroom, an extensive fabric library, and of course furniture, rugs and accessories from the most prestigious companies worldwide.

Norris Furniture & Interiors is seeking a skilled a professional Handyman to join our team and help bring our clients' visions to reality. We are known for our dedication to quality and luxury in home furnishings, and our window treatments are no exception!

Responsibilities:

• Install a wide variety of window treatments, including blinds, shades, and draperies ensuring each one is mounted and functioning perfectly.
• Measure, level, and secure treatments with precision to match the high standards our clients expect.
• Communicate effectively with clients and our design team to achieve an exceptional installation experience.
• Troubleshoot and adjust window treatments to ensure optimal operation and aesthetic appeal.
• Gather materials and boxes from the warehouse and prepare project for install.
• Occasionally hanging, steaming and/or pressing of window treatment panels.

Experience, Skills and Abilities:

• Proven experience with window treatment installation, carpentry, or similar field.
• Ability to install shutters or willing to learn installation procedures a plus.
• Ability to hand wallpaper are a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work in clients' homes in a professional manner.
