Job Description: The Accounts Payable Clerk will report to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and is responsible for managing a high volume of vendor invoices, assisting with general ledger duties, and monthly close process execution. Duties and Responsibilities: Enter invoices in Accounting ERP system with appropriate coding based on nature of expenditure and applicable project. Communicate with vendors to resolve inquiries regarding invoices and payment status. File and maintain vendor files. Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks. Additional duties and responsibilities may apply. Skills Required and Physical Demands: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with ability to work independently. Ability to evaluate and prioritize workload while meeting tight deadlines. Additional skills and physical demands may apply. Education and Qualifications: This is an entry-level role. The main requirement is a willingness to learn and the capability to handle large volumes of requests. Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS degree in business or accounting preferred). Intermediate to advanced Excel skills would be a huge benefit.
