What you get to do: - Ensure a safe environment for all ambassadors, guests, and animals.
- Responsible for the development of OJT's and ambassadors by providing training, feedback and coaching.
- Ensure compliance to all state/federal regulations, park policies, and department procedures.
- Create and maintain a rotation for the teams staffed positions.
- Maintain the highest level of cleanliness in the park, conduct quality inspections of assigned areas, and follow up on any opportunities to improve.
- Respond to guest and ambassador needs.
- Report to Supervisors and Managers regarding the status of projects.
- Oversee completion of daily opening and closing procedures
- Utilize problem solving skills to ensure positive guest resolutions as needed.
- Oversee assigned operating area.
- Ensure strict adherence to all cash handling procedures.
- Perform other miscellaneous tasks as required.
What it takes to succeed: - High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- Excellent computer skills, ability to work multiple selling systems preferred.
- Previous cash handling experience preferred.
- Valid state driver's license and be able to obtain a company driver's license.
- At least 18 years old.
- Ability to complete provided CPR/AED training/certification.
- Ability to be trained and certified at all attractions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortability speaking in front of large groups of guests and ambassadors.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations.
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to bend and stoop to assist in cleaning the park.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds.
- Ability to able to climb stairs.
- Ability to assist in ride testing by riding all park rides.
- Ability to operate in a cash handling environment.
- Three full days of open availability
- Availability to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours, i.e. flexibility to workdays, nights, weekends, holidays, and until 3:00 a.m. for seasonal events.
