We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Black Seal Boiler Operator to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This position will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of low-pressure boilers and related mechanical equipment and systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in boiler operation and maintenance, with a focus on safety and efficiency. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned boiler technician looking for their next challenge.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Black Seal Boiler Operator, your key duties will include:
1. Operating and maintaining low-pressure boiler systems and auxiliary equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Conducting regular inspections and tests of boiler systems to identify and resolve any issues promptly.
3. Assisting in the planning and execution of preventative and corrective maintenance programs.
4. Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines related to boiler operation and safety.
5. Monitoring boiler systems and related equipment for any abnormalities or deviations, and taking corrective action as necessary.
6. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of boiler operation, maintenance, and repair activities.
7. Collaborating with other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of boiler systems and related equipment.
8. Providing technical guidance and training to less experienced team members as needed.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Permanent Black Seal Boiler Operator position, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a boiler technician or in a similar role.
2. A valid Black Seal Boiler Operator's License.
3. Extensive knowledge of low-pressure boiler systems and related mechanical equipment.
4. Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain boiler systems in a safe and efficient manner.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair boiler systems and related equipment.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
7. A strong commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of all applicable regulations and guidelines related to boiler operation and safety.
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
9. Proficiency in the use of computer systems for record keeping and reporting.
