Cleaning Technician

Hiring a full-time Cleaning Technician to work for a well-established production facility in Ashland. Excellent daytime schedule and competitive pay. Benefits available after temp-to-hire period concludes.

FT/Days; 5:00 AM 5:00 PM, Saturday, Sunday, and two weekdays. $20.40/hr.

The Cleaning Technician will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the mill, as well as properly removing and/or disposing of debris and waste materials in a safe and efficient manner. Employee will clean industrial equipment, production areas, and support spaces, ensuring the site remains safe, functional, and compliant with workplace safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning of sawmill floors, machinery, workstations, and common areas.
• Safely remove sawdust, wood chips, and other debris from work areas using appropriate tools such as brooms, vacuums, or industrial cleaning equipment.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces to prevent the buildup of materials or contaminants.
• Properly dispose of waste materials in accordance with jobsite regulations.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear proper protective equipment as directed by site supervisor.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and/or standing for long periods.
• Prior experience in industrial or commercial cleaning preferred.
• Background check required.

Schedule: 5:00 AM 5:00 PM, Saturday, Sunday, and additional two weekdays.

Pay: $20.40/hr. Benefits available after temp-to-hire period concludes.
