Job Description
Responsibilities include:
· Review of Requests for Proposals, scopes and construction documents, contracts, amendments
· Management of projects
· Permit submission and acquisition
· Act as liaison between subcontractors, owners and architects
· Prepare and resolve Requests for Information
· Review of submittals for accuracy and quality control
· Assist Superintendent(s) to resolve issues on job sites with suppliers, subcontractors, engineers and architects
· Create and update project schedules, and manage to deadlines
· Identify potential change orders
· Prepare change order proposals
· Participate in regular meetings with entire project team to identify and resolve issues in a timely and conclusive manner
Qualifications
· Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications
· 3-5 years prior experience as a Construction Project Manager
· Computer experience including construction software (e.g. Project Sight, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office products)
· A Plus to have BS in construction related field (e.g. Civil Engineering, Construction Management, etc.)
