As TB12 and NOBULL continue to charge forward, we're seeking a highly skilled and innovative Innovation Director to join our team at a pivotal moment in our journey. The successful candidate will work closely with external development partners and cross-functional leaders to devise, formulate, and develop new dietary supplements and nutrition products. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of our nutrition product line, ensuring it aligns with our brand values and meets the highest standards of quality and efficacy. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic and rapidly expanding brand.

• Lead the product development process of new nutrition products, from concept through to commercialization.
• Conduct in-depth research on ingredients, nutritional trends, and scientific advancements to inform product
• Develop and optimize product formulations to meet desired nutritional profiles, taste, texture, and stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, eCommerce, Commercialization and Operations to ensure successful product launches.
• Ensure all products comply with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines staying up to date on changes to labeling requirements and anti-doping standards. Interface with all product certifying bodies, and ensure adherence to all standards.
• Design and oversee product testing, including clinical trials, product trials, and sensory evaluations, as needed.
• Manage relationships with external partners, suppliers, and manufacturers to source high-quality ingredients and ensure product quality.
• Oversee the product portfolio consistently seeking areas of product improvement and areas of market opportunity for growth and deliver on the vision.
• Provide technical expertise and support to the product development team, external development teams, and contract manufacturers.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, new research & studies, and advancements to drive continuous innovation in our product offerings.

• Master's or Ph.D. in Nutrition, Food Science, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in nutrition product development, preferably within the CPG or supplements industry. Former role as a Sr. Scientist a plus.
• Strong background in ingredient functionality, formulation, and product development.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance in the nutrition or supplements industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
