We believe literacy changes lives, and we’re looking for someone who shares that belief.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a motivated and mission-driven Education Sales Consultant to help us grow our impact. This role is focused on generating new business through outreach, relationship building, and a deep understanding of what educators need. • Manage the Full Sales Cycle: From discovery to close, you’ll own the process with a consultative approach, demonstrating how Brainspring’s solutions solve real instructional challenges.
  • Strategically Grow the Pipeline by executing weekly outbound activity plans and maintaining a strong cadence of prospecting and follow-ups.
  • Develop tailored sales approaches for different education segments, with a focus on increasing adoption of Brainspring products and services.
  • Conduct discovery calls and presentations to uncover client needs and effectively position Brainspring’s solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with K–12 and higher education decision-makers and influencers.
  • Maintain awareness of state initiatives, funding opportunities, and policy changes to inform outreach and customize value propositions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure a unified approach to outreach and follow-up.
  • Attend and support trade shows, conferences, and other events to generate leads and represent the Brainspring brand.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and opportunity tracking using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate on crafting, responding to, and refining RFPs to ensure timely, high-quality submissions that align with Brainspring’s educational mission and sales strategy.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to continually refine outreach strategies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong outbound sales mindset and ability to generate new opportunities from scratch
  • Customer service orientation with a persuasive and confident communication style
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
  • Comfortable handling a variety of tasks and adapting to shifting priorities with focus and flexibility
  • Professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to Brainspring’s mission
  • Creative problem-solving and an initiative-taking mindset
  • Experience using CRM platforms to manage campaigns and track sales activity
