Electrical Foreman – Columbia, MD

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead a crew on commercial projects in the Columbia, MD area. This role requires strong leadership, the ability to manage jobsite operations, and a solid background in commercial electrical work.

The Electrical Foreman will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating daily tasks, ensuring projects are completed safely and in compliance with industry standards. You will also provide guidance and training to electricians and helpers. Foremen on this project will have access to iPads to assist with job execution in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead an electrical crew on commercial projects
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily work activities
• Ensure work is performed safely and meets all regulations and company standards
• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents
• Oversee quality control and provide hands-on training as needed
• Troubleshoot and install electrical systems
• Manage projects ranging from $100K to $2M
• Maintain and repair existing electrical infrastructure

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in the electrical field
• Journeyman License required
• Proficiency with lighting controls, motor controls, pipe bending (1⁄2"–4"), MC cable, switchgear, fire alarm systems, panels, low-voltage controls, and HVAC wiring
• Experience running commercial projects of varying sizes
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Must be able to speak English
