This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and is well-versed in working closely with management. In this role you’ll work not only on traditional accounting tasks but also play a critical role in speaking into the processes and workflows to lay the groundwork for scaling an efficient and effective accounting/finance function as the organization grows. Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations: This includes treasury, billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger management, tax, and revenue recognition.
• Drive the month-end close process, seeking continuous improvement, speed and accuracy.
• Manage and mentor the accounting/finance team (5)
• Monitor the financial performance and cashflow of the company that enables the business to make optimal decisions.
• Compile and analyze financial reporting packages
• Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with regulations and the company’s policy and procedures
• Implement best practices as it relates to systems, processes, and procedures focused on data accuracy and timeliness
• Act as primary contact for external financial partners and auditors along with managing associated processes
• Participate in the development and support of the company’s strategic plans

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred but not required
• Minimum 7 plus years as a Controller or Assistant Controller with at least 3 years managing personnel.
• SaaS/Technology industry experience
• Prior experience in a private equity owned business a plus
• Experience evolving processes, controls and systems to support a growth stage company
• Demonstrated experience in applying US GAAP
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment for a rapidly growing business
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work closely with the senior management team
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels
