Jr. Project Manager

Leading installation company based in Midtown Manhattan, known for their commitment to quality and excellence in service has an immediate need for a motivated Junior Project Manager to join their dynamic team

Location: New York City

Salary: 65K

Position: Full Time | Permanent | Monday - Friday

Address: 450 7th Avenue, New York, NY

Schedule: 7 AM - 3 PM

Reports to: 3 Project Managers

This entry-level position will involve visiting various job sites to ensure projects run smoothly and that trades can complete their work in a timely manner. The Jr. Project Manager will gain valuable experience in project coordination and management.

Responsibilities:

Site Visits: Regularly visit job sites to monitor progress and ensure that all trades are on schedule.

Blueprint Interpretation: Learn to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.

Task Delegation: Assist in delegating tasks to team members and supervise their implementation to ensure efficiency.

Quality Control: Ensure that all projects meet quality standards by reviewing work and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Budget Management: Help ensure projects adhere to budget standards by tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Efficiency Improvement: Seek ways to improve project efficiency while lowering costs.

Compliance Monitoring: Maintain documentation and compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree a +

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.

Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology is a plus.
