Job Description

EDC Corporation is currently seeking a junior software developer to join our growing development and customer support team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for debugging software, product testing, and new feature implementation. Responsibilities:

• Perform responsive, web based software development and integration, within an agile development process
• Application debugging
• Develop graphical user interfaces (GUIs)
• Develop Android and iOS Apps
• Support software lifecycle, to include design, developing and testing
• Work closely with clients to provide solutions
• Trouble-shooting and problem resolution

Salary and Benefits:

• $70,000 - $90,000 base salary, depending upon qualifications and code test results

Position Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science or related degree
• Zero – two years of experience in software development and testing
• A code sample that shows the quality and type of work representative of your capabilities.
• Ability to successfully complete an in-house code test
• Development experience with any or all of the following: C#, PHP, Smarty Template Engine, Javascript (JQuery), CSS/SCSS, Bootstrap, HTML5, Node.js, Gulp
• Relational Database Knowledge, including Oracle, MSSQL and MongoDB
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to adapt and evolve to technology changes
• Ability to work independently and within a team
