Radiation Safety Officer (RSO)

Location: Morristown, NJ, 07960, US

Schedule:

• Days per Week: 5

• Shift:

• Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

• On-call or Weekends Required? No

• Floating: No

• Call Back: No

Job Duties:

• Implement and manage radiation safety programs.

• Conduct audits and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Train staff on radiation safety and emergency procedures.

• Oversee radiopharmaceutical usage and disposal.

Required Skills and Certifications:

• ARRT or NMTCB certification.

• NJ State Nuclear Medicine License.

• Certification as an RSO or equivalent experience preferred.

• Strong understanding of radiation physics and regulatory standards.

• CPR Certification required.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine or Health Physics.
