Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design and make floral arrangements (hand bouquets, flower stands, vase arrangements, centerpieces, hampers) adhering to our pricing and costing guidelines.
• Ideate and prepare client proposals, making recommendations on flower mix and arrangement style based on the client’s brief, style preferences, budget, and occasion.
• Answer customers’ questions / enquiries via email and phone.
• Learn our house style of wrapping bouquets and be able to do so effectively and efficiently.
• Ensure all creative tasks are carried out to meet deadlines.
• Assist with flower care responsibilities, maintaining the floral fridge as required
• Optimise use of flowers to minimise wastage.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies.
• Help to maintain the cleanliness of the floral studio.
• Any other duties that may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Has a strong interest in floristry.
• Having Certification in Floristry or having work experience as a Florist is preferred but not necessary.
• Possess knowledge of floral varieties and skills in floral techniques.
• Has corporate experience dealing with customer.
• Good verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Have good work ethics, initiative and willingness to learn.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Hourly pay rates: $10 - $12 on weekdays & weekends, $11 - $13 on public holidays, depending on skills and experience.
• Working location: Citilink Warehouse, Pasir Panjang.
