Description QA Tester Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a QA Tester . This is a full-time and remote position. Roles and Responsibilities: Perform functional and quality assurance testing on software applications Develop and provide comprehensive test plans with existing requirements and document results Define and track quality assurance metrics such as test coverage, defects, test results and test status Perform all phases of testing including functional, performance, regression, and integration Provide resolution for all defects identified during testing phase. Display a high-level of initiative and troubleshooting skills. Support the development and validation of security and vulnerability tests against applications Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other applicable disciplines 5+ years of experience with QA testing and Agile methodologies, process and deliverables Demonstrated understanding of Section 508, and writing test scripts Experience with Performance testing (JMeter) experience Experience with coordinating test environments and test data for analysis Experience executing automated test cases and test plans Possess successful history of tracking and reporting testing progress across multiple releases Experience with test management tools like Jira or ALM Experience testing low code and BPM platforms (specifically Appian) preferred Experience with Automation testing (Selenium/ FitNesse) preferred Benefits Astor & Sanders Corporation ( ) offers a unique, stimulating and challenging environment that fosters individual growth and rewards performance.
