Medical Lab Technician

Location: Detroit, MI 48202
Department: Lab Support Services (204325)
Schedule:

• Start Date: 06/23/2025
• Hours: 40/week, 8 hours/day
• Shifts: Midnight (7:30 PM–4:00 AM) or Afternoon (1:00 PM–9:30 PM)
• Days: 5 days/week (weekend availability may be required)

Note: This is not a testing position .

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in laboratory procedures
• Ability to thrive in a high-speed, detail-critical environment

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with SunQuest and Epic systems
• Background in customer service or phone-heavy roles

Education Requirements

• Required: Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science

Certifications & Licensure

• Required: Certification from a nationally recognized certifying agency (e.g., ASCP, NCA)
