Contract School Psychologist -

ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified and dedicated licensed School Psychologist to work with K-12students for a school district located in Oakland, CA for the extended school year and the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. This position involves working collaboratively with educators, families, and students to provide psychological services that promote academic, social, and emotional success.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify student needs, including academic, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student success.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create individualized plans.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
• Facilitate communication between students, families, and school staff to support a positive learning environment.
• Attend IEP meetings and provide input for specialized education plans.
• Maintain detailed records and adhere to all state and federal regulations.

Requirements

• Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology required
• Active California School Psychologist license required
• Pupil Personnel Service Credential required
• Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
