Hotel Director of Sales
Attention all seasoned hospitality professionals! Are you ready to take your sales skills to the next level? Look no further, my client is seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to join their award-winning, property with 1,000+ sq. feet of indoor meeting and event space.
As the Director of Sales, you will represent our company to customers, the public, government, and other external sources. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the entire sales effort of the hotel, including room, event, and meeting space sales. With a primary focus on booking, soliciting, and prospecting for new corporate and social business, you will also be responsible for maintaining existing relationships and executing sales and marketing strategies to maximize profitability while ensuring guest satisfaction. And as a bonus, you will also have social media responsibilities for the hotel.
Requirements:
- Experienced in all areas of sales, including outside/direct sales calls, tele-prospecting, cold calls, tours, sales blitz, direct mail campaigns, competitive analysis, trade shows, and sales presentations
- Knowledge of hotel property management systems
- Proactive attitude with a desire to be hands-on
