\n\nExperience:
\n\n• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
\n\n• Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.
\n\n• 3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
\n\n• Diploma completion required
\n\nRequirements:
\n\n• Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license (required for submission).
\n\n• This role will require floating to multiple units
\n\n• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.
\n\n• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
\n\n• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.
\n\n• No previous experience allowed for Staff at Facility: Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center

\n\nRequired Skills/Experience:
\n\nICU: Neuro and Trauma experience is an absolute must.
\n\nICU: Vents/critical care drips, Drains, Stroke Patients, CT’s, Hemodynamic lines, rhythm recognition, measure strips, chest tubes, strong assessment skills, A-line.
\n\nRequired Credentials: Photo ID
\n\nUnit/Facility Details: Free Parking in designated areas
\n\nSpecial Requests:
\n\nHousing in ME becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying.
\n\nRoles requiring state licensure only: License should not expire within 45 days following start date
\n\nTravel Pairs: If you are in a relationship, EMMC will not schedule you on the same days. If you are not in a relationship, you can be scheduled for the same days if not on the same shift/unit. Managers will not guarantee the same schedule for travel pairs.
\n\nShift & Scheduling: Every other weekend rotation (Fri & Sat)
\n\nFloating Requirements:
\n\nTo the Cardiac care unit, will take patients within their scope.
\n\nCCU (Cardiac stepdown) or General PCU
\n\nPICU if they have peds experience
\n\n7 days maximum time off
\n\n2 references from last 12 months (Any reference type) - required for submission
\n\nProof of identification required for submission

\n\n• BLS (Basic Life Support)
