Must Have:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
• Bias for action, strong organizational and presentation skills, and resource management ability are critical.
• Experience in an administrative, program management, or laboratory capacity preferred.
• Experience with materials and fasteners testing techniques preferred.
• MS Office competency required; experience with Atlassian tools preferred.

Day to Day:

Working within the Materials & Fasteners Engineering group, this individual will be responsible for coordinating internal and outsourced validation activities. This will primarily involve the management of logistics for test materials, contracts with third-party vendors, documentation of test details and results, and collaboration with design engineering, test engineering, testing laboratories, supply chain management, and program management.

Responsibilities:

• Continually engage with design engineering, program management, and internal test functions to determine and document requirements for testing.
• Gather documentation for test requests to enable internal test execution or accurate quoting of third-party test services.
• Engage third-party test labs to quote test requests and determine the best option for execution considering cost, timing, and criticality.
• Coordinate preparation and shipment of test materials, including sourcing, fabrication, and all logistics.
• Build and maintain trackers to ensure testing stays on schedule.
• Maintain open and continuous lines of communication with internal and external laboratories to quickly relay concerns and test results.
• Maintain robust documentation of purchase orders, test reports, and shipment records.

Compensation:

$30-40/hr
