• Currently raising to accelerate US growth, launch new premium features, and double down on AI‑powered matching.

Headquartered in San Francisco (Salesforce Tower, WeWork) with strong roots in France, Paaw is on a mission to turn every adoption into a perfect match—and give millions of animals a second chance.

As Technical Co‑Founder (future CTO) you will own everything product & tech:

1. Set the Technical Vision

• Define and evolve a scalable, secure architecture for a two‑sided marketplace and data‑heavy AI services.

1. Build & Ship Relentlessly

• Lead full product cycles—from discovery to deployment—using Node.js / TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, GCP/AWS, Docker/K8s.

1. Level‑Up Our AI Stack

• Industrialize our behavioral‑matching models and recommendation engine; expand data pipelines (RescueGroups, shelter CRMs, vet records).

1. Own the Product Roadmap

• Prioritize features that drive adoption conversions, shelter retention, and premium revenue (Express Response, upcoming “AI Boost” spotlight).

1. Scale Across Borders

• Ensure flawless performance for EU & US partitions (GDPR, CCPA) and position Paaw for global expansion.

• Co‑Founder Equity: significant stake, negotiated based on experience & round size.
• Competitive Salary: starts post‑funding, with flexibility up‑front.
