शामली पुलिस को बड़ी सफलता मिली है। पुलिस मुठभेड़ में ₹1 लाख का इनामी बदमाश फुरकान मारा गया। फुरकान लंबे समय से फरार चल रहा था।
उस पर लूट, हत्या, रंगदारी समेत कई गंभीर आपराधिक मुकदमे दर्ज थे। पुलिस के अनुसार, आरोपी पर दर्जनों मामले विभिन्न थानों में दर्ज थे।फुरकान कुख्यात मुकीम काला गिरोह का सक्रिय सदस्य था और कैराना पलायन प्रकरण का मुख्य आरोपी माना जाता था। उसके खिलाफ हत्या, गैंगस्टर, रंगदारी सहित 20 से अधिक गंभीर धाराओं में मुकदमे दर्ज थे।
पुलिस कार्यवाही झिंझाना थाना प्रभारी वीरेंद्र कसाना, बाबरी थाना पुलिस और शामली एसओजी टीम ने संयुक्त रूप से की।
